Want to go inside of the mind of a Veteran who suffers from PTSD? - TopicsExpress

Want to go inside of the mind of a Veteran who suffers from PTSD? Please dont fear this. Watch and learn to understand your fellow Veteran and what they must go through, have gone through or will continue to go through unless the Veteran or any PTSD sufferer gets exposed to the proper counter-stimuli. This brought tears to my eyes. I was there. But Ive managed to beat most of my inner demons thanks to holistic methods and approaches. Meds dont help and not enough understanding makes things worst. Misunderstanding, makes things impossible for us at times but it is truly difficult to understand for others. Just like certain constant stimuli created those inner demons, certain type of stimuli is the only way to counter them. This is exactly why I have dedicated myself for the past several years to fully understand Neuroplasticity, breathing techniques, and understanding certain triggers that affects everyone of us differently. Something like tinnitus can block out proper stimuli to enter our being and tinnitus cant be treated with meds. To some, something as simple as a loved ones certain pitched voice can aggravate symptoms out of control. Sometimes an irrelevant smell can trigger certain feelings, which then triggers the PTSD. This is why I believe in Neuroplasticity as the key to beating PTSD through meditative zoning with breathing techniques and clearing of the mind to stimulate bad habits or triggers out of our beings. Im gathering lots of information and even creating videos to help combat PTSD and other triggers to peoples uneasy and unpleasant feelings and dreading. Ill tell you this much though, the media is the number one culprit of instilling fear in all. So in other words, something as simple as eliminating that stimuli (watching senseless t.v. Programming), will help to create the beginning to a resolution in PTSD sufferers. Thank you for your time in reading and watching this. Please share this information to help with the fight in to shedding some light in this matter in order to help enlighten our fellow Veterans. What are your thoughts on Neuroplasticity and what I said as being key elements for this fight to counter these inner demons that PTSD sufferers carry?
