Want to know what really bites? Read on... For a quarter-century, I have eagerly and faithfully attended a fabulous event each August. The Great Gatsby Gala to benefit The MS Society gatsbygala.org The 26th is this evening at 7 PM at Wells Fargo atrium, and I have been told, in no uncertain terms, by not one but two different doctors I AM NOT TO ATTEND THIS EVENINGS FESTIVITIES! About two or three days ago, this little MS thing that I have started kicking me in the butt, and after a day of testing yesterday, this flareup has apparently been caused by my wacky MS-affected immune system fighting some infection the wrong way. That same infection has also led my right ankle looking a little bit like a hot pink water balloon. I am to put zero weight on that water balloon until at least Sunday night, in the meantime, let the antibiotic do its thing. So thats what bites! BIG-TIME!!! I fluctuate between being warm-eating pitiful, and being damned pissed!
