Want to say a few things with just 10 days left until election. 1. I am not easily intimidated, I do not give up, and I wont back down from a good fight or argument. Saying I am too young or under educated doesnt bother me. I am a very positive person and a role model for many kids especially my daughter. I will never speak negatively about any body or any one thing. If you want my honest opinion I am not afraid to give it to you. 2. Hearing things like good ole boy system doesnt qualify for me. I am who I am and you will accept it or you will not. I am willing to try to make a difference for teachers, students and parents in the Wabash Valley. If you hear me say no to something I mean no and yes means yes. 3. I have heard from various current school corporation administrators that they are calling me a squeaky wheel if I get elected. If they mean by squeaky that I am honest, up front and not a yes man then so be it. Dont let people manipulate you as a voter to believe something you dont want or need too. This board needs a transparent person on the board. Here I am. 4. I AM NOT A POLITICIAN. Here is a definition straight from Google. Politician - A person who acts in a manipulative and devious way, typically to gain advancement within an organization. People that truly know me, you know that isnt me. Refer back to statement one if you need to understand my philosophy again. 5. I am young, passionate and a very hard worker. Of the current board members only one has children in school. I am trying to make a difference before my daughter makes it into the current school corporation. Every day I hear my generation is lazy, incompetent, not hard working, bottle fed, under educated, never showing any effort. Here I am folks, I am 26 years old with my head screwed on tight. I am willing to stick my neck out there for you, to work for you, to help combat bullying for you, to help with any issue you, youre son or daughter has. I am at my best working for others and I want to prove that to each and every parent, teacher and administrator. I would appreciate your support and vote November 4th, 2014.
