Want to send a HUGE offering of thanks to God for my college professor Dr. Al Knoblock, Jr., whose passion for Gods Word in its original languages started me on the most amazing journey of my life. Hes been home for 8 years today. His decades of unmatched research and study and fierce dedication to the truth despite unpopularity in the religious world awoke in me a driving force to know what God really has said, and what those words really mean, regardless of whether or not it agrees with human tradition and religion. Gods Word is powerful and energizing and full of light and freedom and peace. And Im keeping my promise, Al, holding to the directive to cut that Word straight, to cut it true. God bless you for sticking to the truth of Gods Word even when it meant sacrifice; you never wavered. Although I miss you and our conversations greatly, and there are so many things Id like to still ask and learn, I cant wait to touch base when I see you again. And a great amount of thanks to Judith Davis Knoblock, who gave of yourself and your time to share some of the more beautiful things with me I might have missed. God bless and comfort you on this day.
