Want to try something new? The University of London, GB Rowing, High Performance Talent ID Scheme is looking for potential athletes who could be the next National, World and Olympic champions. ULBC is successful at all levels of University rowing; from BUCS championship medals through to Rowing World Championships. We are looking to build further, eventually becoming the top Rowing club in the country. We are looking for males and females who are taller than average and have a drive to be successful. Cyclists, Basketballers, Netballers, Rugby and Volleyball players all have body types which can lend themselves to Rowing. This scheme is hoping to identify people who may have not found the sport in which they thrive yet and helping them achieve their full potential. Interested? We are holding a ‘testing day’ next week on the 17th March on the first floor of the SAW Centre. Feel free to come along (shorts and trainers are recommended) testing should take around 30 minutes.
