Wanted to let all our fb friends who bring your children/grandchildren to the Hackney Swim Academy we are officially retired from the swim business. This has been a family business starting with Garys dad in 1959 in Lake Jackson. Greg and Gary worked for their dad until he retired and then Greg built his pool in Lake Jackson and he and Gary continued the business. We built our first pool in Victoria in 1988 with our sons helping us since they were about 10. All good things must eventually come to an end. We will definitely miss all the wonderful clientele we have had thorough the years. We didnt advertise and I always said we were blessed to start with good people and they spread the word to friends. Good people have good friends. We are looking forward to traveling in the summer and having swim parties with our good friends and family. Between teaching school, coaching football and track and teaching swim lessons, Gary has made a positive impact on thousands of young lives. Im blessed to have been along for the ride.
