Wanted to let everyone know of some great Tomato Festival events scheduled at The Shoppes on Fatherland - following is a run down: 1) Kickoff Concert tonight at East-Centric Pavilion in The Shoppes on Fatherland starting at 6:00 pm - Elmo Buzz & The East Side Bulldogs, Tommy Womack and Buffalo Clover 2) Tomato Art Fest King and Queen Contest is tomorrow - Thursday August 8th from 7 till 9 pm at the East-Centric Pavilion in The Shoppes on Fatherland. A new King and Queen will be crowned. 3) Voodoo Swing Circus - Famous Redheads and Spicy Tomatoes on Friday August 9th starting at 8 pm at East-Centric Pavilion in The Shoppes on Fatherland 4) CORNHOLE Tournament on Saturday August 10th starting at 11 am on the Lawn at East Centric Pavilion in The Shoppes on Fatherland. There will be gift basket prizes for the first and second place winners provided by the merchants of the shoppes. 5) Tomato Arts Festival Music starting at 12 pm on Saturday August 10th at East-Centric Pavilion in The Shoppes On Fatherland - musicians include: Tumbleweed Company; Twiggs; Bryan Hayes & The Retrievers and More. Come enjoy the shade and live music. 6) Doggie cooling pool and pet drink station at Baxter Bailey & Company on Saturday August 10th. Come cool off your pet and enjoy some shade. Cool beverages can be found at ABODE in Suite 102 7) ABODE will be sampling a LOT of great food items on Saturday August 10th - come try some Roasted Tomato and Parmesan Bisque Soup; Buffalo Pasta Salad; Ousley Ouch Salsa; marinated grape tomatoes and fresh mozarella; and MUCH more! A LOT of great events going on at the shoppes starting tonight. Be sure to come visit all of the shoppes and enjoy the festivities!
