Wanted to share this with you all to pass on. We are helping here at my work as well, so if you know anyone that needs food during this time. Currently there are a still a large number of separate outages affecting approximately 4,092 customers are still without power due to the extreme damage caused by Friday’s devastating weather. Here’s how that number breaks out: Albuquerque: 3,814 Valencia: 77 Sandoval: 85 Est. Mountains: 112 PNM Good Neighbor Fund Food Box Distribution The PNM Good Neighbor Fund has set up and coordinated the distribution of 950 non-perishable food boxes for low income customers who have experienced food losses during the recent storm related electric outages. When a family is financially challenged, a refrigerator full of spoiled food is a huge problem! Thanks to our wonderful community partners, PNM is able to reach out and offer some real support to help those affected by the recent storm and outages. To receive a food box, customers must be low income, and have been affected by the recent storm induced electric outages. Below is a listing of community partner agencies, 1. The Storehouse in Albuquerque, 106 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 Distribution time is 8:30am-3:30pm, Tuesday thru Friday at the Good Neighbor Fund office. Customers should enter through the entrance on the south side of the building and look for the PNM sign after entering that door. 2. St Vincent de Paul-LOS LUNAS, 960 Main Street, Los Lunas, NM 87031 Distribution time is 12:00pm-1:00pm, Monday thru Thursday 3. St Vincent de Paul-Albuquerque, 4120 Menaul NE, Albq., NM 87110, 345-1500 ext 4 This organization supports families across Albuquerque. St Vincent de Paul of Albuquerque will have PNM food boxes and will give the boxes to customers affected by the storm who call them directly. Silver Horizons of New Mexico, 1212 Candelaria NW, Albq., NM 87107, 884-3881 ext 2 This organization supports Senior Citizens age 60 and over across Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Silver Horizon’s will have PNM food boxes and will give the boxes to customers affected by the storm who call them directly. American Red Cross, distributing food boxes at- Jack Candelaria Community Center, 400 San Jose SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 7:30am- 7:00pm The American Red Cross helps all of those in need.
