Wanted to share with you a story to encourage you today. In the jungle you will see a lion usually runs after a deer and catches it. When you look at how fast they both run, they run almost the same speed, though the deer has the ability to leap and jump higher and run faster than a lion. But what makes the deer twist and slow down is its lack of confidence and ultimately FEAR. We as humans do the same thing. We fear the unknown, we fear tomorrow, we fear danger and illness. Why do we often forget that we serve a great God? Hes way stronger, way more capable and most of all, Hes always looking out for you and protecting you. He said: Dont fear for I am with you. He said: If I am with you, who dare be against you. He also said: Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. So, today put your trust in Him, today remember you are courageous, you are strong, you are fearless and most of all you are loved and protected by the Almighty God.
