Warehouse Operative/Forklift Truck Driver Our client, a leading UK Manufacturer of Sheet Metal Products, has a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Truck Driver. Applicants must have experience working in a Warehouse and must hold a valid counterbalance forklift truck licence. Experience in warehouse leadership preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all Warehouse operations are completed in a safe and efficient manner in line with company policy. Duties include vehicle loading/unloading and despatching goods, store housekeeping and carrying out quality assurance procedures. Applicants must hold a Fork lift truck licence, have a good understanding of Health and Safety Regulations and experience in Manual Handling. Warehouse NVQ2 desirable but not essential. Must have good communication skills, ability to use own initiative, ability to work to targets and deadlines, literate and numerate, able to undertake duties including lifting and carrying weights up to 15kgs approx. Must also be computer literate. This is a Permanent position subject to a 3 month trial period. £6.50 - £7.00, 40 hours per week.
