Warning - emotional and gushing post alert!!!! I have had the BEST me day today for the first time in probably the best part of almost a decade!! Lovely morning coffee with a very good friend!! :0) Delivered sunflowers, cake & chocs to school staff for helping supporting Jack and me in his best year since his heart attack (Eyegaze/SLT/Physio and head teacher for having faith in my instincts for what is best for my beautiful and amazing son and agreeing to pay for some of it too, and Uncle Phil too!!). Another day of glorious sunshine and an hour of sunbathing and more freckles before Jack breaks up for the summer and all that entails!!!! Jack coming home early very happy and smiling at a present from one of his TAs and looking and exploring the picture on it and smiling with his mouth and eyes wide open (Jack is cortically visually impaired which has improved too over the last few years - so thats huge)!! Thank you to Nikki Kyte for being here for 2 hours so I could walk Archie Wright in the beautiful fields behind our home and watching him swim madly in the river and wanting to chase a ball, stones and sticks in this weather, listening to great tunes - smooth radio has a lot to answer for!! Coming back and having a swim in the pool that I rarely go in and then chilling out by it for half an hour before doing my first ever dive bomb - Im obviously too old as it hurt my nose and my neck is now sore!! And now watching Up with Jack complete with a Corona beer - thanks again Nikki for going to the shop to get them for me, Im so chilled I cant begin to describe it, and has topped off a great day a treat!! I have now cried twice too - happy tears!!! Just need Abii Eebbii Wright to come home from work for a big hug and my day will be complete, just need to find a good chick flick to watch whilst I wait for her!!! Thank you friends and family for all your help - I feel an amazing summer is ahead of us!! A BIG BLOODY THANK YOU!! Never, ever take anything for granted!!! :0) xxxxx
