Warning! Short story! Hi again, I didnt get a lot of sleep last night, as I was thinking about today. It is very surreal to me. I was thinking back at my life and where it has taken me, having been thrown some major curve balls, as everyone does. I was a medical secretary for 16 years, lia sophia manager for six, completing my nursing generals before having a life changing experience. When I do start thinking about wishing I would have completed my nursing degree, I very quickly remind myself I did the right thing and making my boys my #1 priority. Then I met my awesome husband Todd, and next came my precious gift, Carly, who brings so much joy to my life. After sending her off to school, there was a void....Hmmmm, should I go to beauty school at the age of 45??? Thats a little crazy. After careful thought and a little nudge from Devin and Brody and, most importantly, being inspired by Megan Pohl, who had just started, I decided to take the plunge. From day one, those young whipper snappers welcomed me with open arms and only after one short week, I was named Mamma Bear. I love each and every one of my little bears. I learned from them soooo much, as I hope I taught them a few things about life and what is important...shoot, I was not going to cry today!! To the AOC students I am leaving behind, go to school! No skipping, you will regret it! You will all be great at this business!! Now, I want thank all of you, my FB friends, whether you are one of my dearest, high school friends, past UW co-workers or new friends. All of your support means the world. I want to thank Devin Feggestad and Brody Feggestad for your support (Sorry Brody for the really bad hair cut when I just started). None of us will forget that that night. Thank you to my mother, Julie Haugen-Hosszu, who has always been my biggest fan and to the rest of my family and Vicki Coomer and Todds family. I love all of you so much. Thank you so much to Jenifer Toulon, Ms. McDearmon Abby McGuire, Diana Huerta- Mogensen, Vickie Shelton, Mrs. Beard, Miss Lisa, Miss Lee, Ms. Margaret, for everything you have taught me...(I know Im forgetting some people). Thank you to my first male and female clients, Terry Wendt Shelley Wendt, Deb Fitzgerald, and one of the funnest clients a girl could ask for, Anita Reetz..your support means the world! Lastly, thank you to my guardian angels (I have a few real special ones looking down on me, one being my Grandma Dorothy who was a beautician for years, hope I make you proud Grandma)! I will graduate today at 3:30 and am so excited to say that I will be working at Studio 107 Day Spa. I will post at a later date when my first day will be, and I hope you come and see me :) I know my learning is far from over, I am excited to learn from the best..my co-workers there and awesome owners, Jeni Lindstrom and Grace Kowal Spoden!! So, in ending, thank you again very much! You never know where this crazy thing called life will take you, but make the best of every moment, as I am learning from the person who inspires me the most, Trickett Fewell Wendler!! I love you Trickett. xoxo
