Warning "Tropical Storm “WUTIP”" No. 7 Time Issued : September 29, 2013 At 04.00 a.m. LST on 29 September, typhoon “WUTIP” in the upper South China Sea was centered about 550 kilometers east of the coast of Vietnam or latitude 16.7 degree North, longitude 112.9 degree East. The storm is moving west-northwest at speed of 10 km/hr with sustained winds about 130 km/hr. It is expected to make landfall over upper Vietnam by 1 October. More rain, as well as isolated heavy rain, is likely in eastern parts of northeastern Thailand. The monsoon trough lies across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast leading to more rain with isolated heavy rain in the Central and the East in the following provinces: Lop Buri, Saraburi, Sa Keao, Chachoengsao, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. People should beware of the severe weather during this period.
