Warning !! Warning !! Warning !! Dont Use VLC Player on laptops , note books . Hey friends, If you purchased new laptop , notebook of Dell , lenovo, HP orany other company . Dont use and install VLC media player. VLC can damage your lappys speakers and Hence, it is not coveredunder warranty. Even if it is under warranty . Reason behind this : The VLC player has a capacity to boost the volume upto 200-400 % The speakers installed on notebooks are of 4Ohms speakers and can take volume only upto 100%. In case there is any rise in volumeabove 100%, the brass caps onthe speakers are burned which in turn damages the speakers . Hence, it is not covered under warranty. Kind Advice : You can use any other player like K lite, splayer ...... but not vlc.
