Warning, long emotional post on the way.....as I Pack up the things from my mom and dads house and my sister-in-laws house, I cant help but realize how unbelievably grateful and lucky we are… There are so many people I need to thank for this last year....from amazing friends and family who have given their time to help us build this house to new neighbors who have been tolerant of our mess and loaned us ladders and hoses and heaters and generators and their own time...from new friends who we may have been paying for their services but that bent over backwards to help us get in by Christmas to an awesome building inspector who signed the temporary official paperwork yesterday, from my father-in-law who literally made this his full-time job the last month to a mother-in-law who has kept our kids almost every weekend, from a sister-in-law and brother-in-law who rented their home to us for next to nothing to the most amazing parents who have not only let us invade their home the last four months, but have fed us, did our laundry, kept our kids in the evenings so we could work on the house (and go watch SOA...thanks to an awesome aunt and uncle for Tuesday night house relief!) and helped hold a ladder and swing a hammer in their spare time....and finally to my amazingly patient, confused, understanding kiddos and dog who have been troopers with moves from Pioneer Drive to Merimac Drive to Quail Crossing Drive and finally to Geneva Way all since last Christmas and to my partner in crime and life, we have talked about building our dream home for 17 years and we finally did it with our own blood, sweat, and tears...now, wonderful family of mine: lets DANCE in the kitchen!!!
