Warning: vent ahead! I was harassed while driving by a passenger in a vehicle today who said he was a police officer and accused me of texting. I admitted checking and reading e-mails, but he insisted I was texting and threatened me he could pull up my phone number and prove it. If he had pulled me over in uniform, I would have respected his concern. However his finger waving and yelling at me (which quite honestly took my attention off the road more than if I HAD been texting) was completely uncalled for and inappropriate. I thanked him for being a cop an not so politely thanked him for his accurate display if road rage. I really hope he is not a GF police officer, because his behavior was most definitely not becoming of an officer.
