Warwick SUs Postgrad Officer smacks down students who are organising to deliver replacement lectures (presumably unpaid), directly and explicitly undermining university workers industrial actions. I think occasionally we play a bit fast and loose with the term scab in a student context - for instance, in general students shouldnt cross staff picket lines but doing so doesnt make them a scab. But when theyre actually working to replace the labour that their teachers are withdrawing... Is this something people have heard is happening at any other universities or colleges?
