Was able to walk with Canyonman today before returning home. We had a beautiful hike. He is in great shape. I was amazed as he carried his 40 lb pack straight up the steep sections of the trail and just talked away to me while I was huffing and puffing. We had a really great time and I really enjoyrd all the hikers and all the food we ate. He reached his 400 mile mark along the way. I left about that time and hiked back alone.i saw some beautiful mountains birds chipmunks squirrel s and a snake. Next week he will roll into my hometown of Hampton TN.
