Was at a BBQ yesterday for the Fourth of July, and while sitting down and eating , conversing with the fellas, I heard someone start singing obnoxiously on the balcony above our head. It was pretty much frowned upon, that immediately we would start laughing thinking that it was hilarious to say the least; since it was random, and just awkward just because of how many others were hearing this guy sing as well . But, soon things changed, as this guy comes out of his apartment with what looks like a relative, or a brother. I noticed that this guy has put his hand on his relatives shoulder. As I put two and two together, I discovered that this guy was not crazy, he was blind. I couldnt help but ask God to forgive me, not for just simply laughing, but how unappreciative of such a blessing it was to be able to see, to have vision, and my sight Lord. I figured if he could sing on that balcony all day, and couldnt see a thing, the least I could do was get up every day and do something productive in stay on my grind , because the hurt I would endure from a workout, is not half as much pain as he probably had from not being able to see a thing .So chase your dream everyday, and get one step closer daily, whether its sunlight out or nighttime, and be thankful for the small things .
