Was not surprised at all to read this...We applied for a loan modification back in March due to my moms brain injury. I cannot work as I solely provide her 24hr care, what she receives in disability is about 50% less than her previous income...not to mention the mounting medical expenses, need for a reliable handicap van and modifications to the home. I dont mean to put it all out there on FB but just goes to show how heartless BOA is...they know the situation, have all the documentation and have done nothing for us except waste my time- time that could go toward caring for my mother or child I am trying to raise in the midst of all this...they have never answered our application for a modification just shuffle it from one person to another then say the process has to start all over again. After researching it online this is their standard practice. Its what they do until you miss a mortgage payment then they can send you into foreclosure. They have already been sued and fined by the government for their abusive business practices but what they are making off their customers still makes it worth it even if they have to pay a few fines. So they havent changed their practices in fact keep finding new ways to abuse customers and maximize profits. It is obvious now that we will never receive our modification. So sorry for the rant but out of principle I had to do something since they victimize their customers...even if its just a facebook rant...I hope no one I know banks with them or finances with them in the future! salon/2013/06/28/new_bank_of_america_whistle_blower_emerges_more_customer_abuse/
