Was on my way to horrible supermarket when I got lost. Ended up at peak hill farm in Kelsale. where I got some cuts of organic local beef. I stocked up on some skirt some beautiful looking mince a little Topside roast and some ox tail. The breed was South Devon and the farmers name is Rob and the food miles were 3 miles thats 3 miles from my house!! (Closer than the supermarket) Further along the road I found myself at maple leaf farm where I got lots of organic Christmas veg. parsnips Brussels sprouts cabbage potato onions all only £1 a bag and pumpkins/squash 75p and some farmyard organic eggs for only £1.20. And amazing winter salad leaves. BARGIN and the beef was well priced to. Somehow I had forgotten these places exist in my local area and havent shopped at them for years totally awesome and I didnt have to go to the awful supermarket after all here I am in my house with organic locally grown yummy food to eat for Christmas and local xx
