Was reading a magazine today that really struck a chord with me.. Did u know that the WHO recommends formula as the last resort for feeding babies?? They recommend: 1) breast milk from mum; if not, 2) expressed breast milk; if not, 3) milk from another healthy mum; if not, 4) formula No one told me that there was a breast milk bank or even the option of getting donor milk! It reminded me of how disappointed and helpless I felt when I couldnt feed my baby boy in the hospital and the only option I had was formula. Now that things are going REALLY well.. (My freezers full of EBM) the last thing I want to do is pour the precious liquid gold down the drain. I know this might sound really weird but I would like to become a donor for anyone who is after some EBM for their precious little babies! Id be happy to help anyone who wants to exclusively breastfeed. Just contact me on Facebook if ur interested :) It really is the best thing u can do for them.. (Breast milk has even been shown to cure some cancers!!)
