Was trying to talk myself out of this run today with every excuse in the book, but then my neighbor sent me an encouraging text and it was out the door I went. First 4 miles were ok, 5-10 were a blur and I got a second wind at mile 10. There was a time I could barely run a mile. But I started cross training using a 20-30 minute in home workout DVD in an accountability group and built up my endurance. Without even realizing it I was building the ability to take myself places I never thought I could go.
