Was up half the night wondering how the aquaponics system was going to fair this week. We got gold fish and pvc pipes and young veggies growing. Well, this a.m. I did research and have concluded that all will be fair, with only minor prep. My husband reminds me that the entire system is just an experiment, and I am not to get too attached. But my goldfish have grow so much over the year. I would hate for anything to happen to them. But they will be fine. My husband assures me with the system constantly running, the pipes wont freeze. So that leaves just my young veggies. I read that the water will prevent them from freezing by keeping the humidity up, and I can put a fan on them to keep the air circulating. Or I can try to create a shelter for them. Any input from my FB friends?
