Washington Federal Inc., parent company of Washington Federal, announced Friday it has entered into an agreement with Bank of America to acquire 23 branches in Nevada and Arizona. Subject to regulatory approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, the transaction is expected to close in the second calendar quarter of 2014.
