Washington National Guard Year In Review: April - As the month of April started more Guardsmen poured into Snohomish County to assist the first responders with the efforts after the State Route 530 Landslide. The Guard began conducting Engineer operations and Transportation missions assisting the the citizens of Oso, Arlington and Darrington. By the end of the month, more than 850 Guardsmen spent time working diligently in Snohomish County, the States Washington Emergency Management Division Emergency Operations Center was activated for 38 days, the longest continuous activation in EMDs history.
