Wasnt the outcome we were hoping for this weekend but I wouldnt trade the memories with so many great people for anything. Started of with a clutch issue that caused us to waste our first of only 2 time runs. Second time run was pretty good. Then the Bristol weather Ive heard so many horror stories about bit us in the first round. My driver did her job but her crew chief not so much. We wanted to stay and watch our team on Saturday, but decided since this is our last season in jrs to come home and race at Northeast. We drove straight from Bristol to Northeast only to break our crankshaft on our first time run. God was watching over Julie and her opponent and kept them safe when that happened, as her clutch tore through the guard thats supposes to keep everything intact and shot across the lane in front of the car in the other lane. Almost at the finish line. Julie managed to shut the car off and stopped on the side of the track without incident. All in all Id call this a successful weekend. :)
