Morgan (3-29-2013) When we first met I was your queen But as the years rolled by you lowered my self esteem Nobody understands the hurt you put me through But now I’m closer to God and it’s all because of you Everybody thought that you were a good person If they knew what I knew then they would all despise you But I’m not holding a grudge they’re too heavy to carry I just hate that I was a fool at 19 and got married They say a relationship is supposed to be give and take But now I’m free from you Thank God and my heart you can no longer break Unstoppable tears running down my face can now be dried Because the pieces to my heart have been found along with my pride My mind has buried all the hurt you put me through the years And I’ve came to the conclusion that I was only wasting tears
