Watch Ford Drop an F-150 on Four Power Wheels F-150s The Ford F-150 has long held a reputation for being a tough and dependable workhorse – you don’t become the US’ most popular pickup truck by being a pushover. But ‘tough’ on work certainly doesn’t mean ‘light’ on everything else … children’s motorized toys included. Nevertheless, the crew at Fisher-Price wanted to prove just how well their plucky Power Wheels F-150 could stand up to torture, but ventured a bit beyond the scope of abuse that any normal child could yield. Instead, they dropped a full-size 2015 F-150 on four of its Power Wheels counterparts, and the results are surprising. Weighing in at 4,120 pounds (that’s more than 1,000 pounds on each toy), the Ford pickup is successfully supported by its diminutive Power Wheels cousins, and not only that, but the motorized toys run and drive just fine afterwards. The new aluminum-bodied F-150 may have shed 700 pounds over its predecessor, but that doesnt detract from the fact that it’s still a big boat towing, house moving, and do-everything pickup.
