Watch out for the pickpockets trick of asking you for directions. I saw a guy trying it on two women today on a bus using a map. He caught me looking at him and moved away. They hold the map about 6 inches to the opposite side of the shoulder your bag is hanging from and so your bag is unsupervised from that angle. It was a homeless guy I recognised and he usually hangs around outside spar in dame street with a sleeping bag. AM not 100% per cent sure he is actually homeless.
