Back in 2012, I had a bunch of extra chuck roast scraps too small to cut into roasts, so I cubed and canned it. I get a whole chuck and butcher it myself into roasts to save money. Today is the first time I have opened a can of it and cooked with it. Damn good! I fried up some taters in bacon fat, butter, and a little garlic infused olive oil with roasted garlic in it, and a thin sliced onion. Same texture as my corned beef and taters, but with a real nice roast beef flavor. Winner, winner, beef & tater dinner! Sorry. No pic or smellovision.
