Watch out if you fly Delta. They lost my luggage on Saturday, told me theyd call when they located it. Called the next day to ask what was in it and for a description (which I had provided the day before). No follow through. Ive called every day since, they ask for the same information and say no one responds to their message asking about my bag. After 5 days of this, Im told it will be declared a total loss. Im supposed to submit an entire inventory of lost items, along with purchase date and price. They will reimburse me (in 2-3 weeks) a DEPRECIATED VALUE of the items lost. When I explained that my replacement cost is what needs to be reimbursed, because I would not otherwise need to purchase these items, I was treated rudely, denied access to a supervisor, denied a phone number for corporate, and hung up on. Yeah... great service Delta. Now, Im pissed me off ... dont worry, Im going to share the story with all everyone I know.
