Watched 2001: A Space Odyssey last night. This mind-bending flick really did heavily impact the world of science fiction with its unique form of storytelling, detailing dangers of advanced forms of technology and cautions the worst case scenario of artificial intelligence gone awry; not to mention a visual aesthetic that in 1968 must have blown peoples minds. I really have to give much admiration to this movie for being such a big cinematic influence on others like it that followed. Quite the interesting and highly intriguing mental work-out.
