Watched American sniper. Book was way better, But are not they all. Overall it was worth a watch. I did like to see the our rifle being used in his last tour. By the way he is using a McMillan tac 338. We made two of them for the film. Its a shame that he never mentions it in the book at all. Some say on purpose,(long story we wont talk about) yet its on the cover. He used it for the longest shot he took in Iraq. 2100 yards. I thought it was funny that in the movie he leaves it on the roof when they escape. Mmmm no lol he kept it. I was confused though. Many of the scenarios were way different in the book. I understand you want to build tension in the movie but there was so much good material in the book that they did not need to Hollywood it up like they did. From what everyone that knew Chris they say he was a Hell of a guy. I never got to meet him unfortunately.
