Watched a guy fight recently and freeze up. Got in his own head. You could see the disappointment and frustration on his face. Not necessarily for himself but, for his team mates and the people that came out to support him. Hes probably going to read this so heres my take. I dont think his team mates or his supporters are disappointed at all because the truth of the matter is he put in the work in the gym, suffered, cut the weight, walked down the aisle and had the door locked behind him. 99% of the population has not the will to make that commitment and risk failure. If you have the courage to do that, and he did, in my opinion it matters little who gets their hand raised, because the work and commitment that it took to get you to the door, and have it locked behind you, regardless of victory or defeat, tells me youve already won.
