Watched jatta today at gopalan cinemas. Very thought provoking script and the director has not resorted to icing on the cake technique to showcase his opinions but rather has presented it very straight and effective. Few scenes and dialogues are just brilliant which takes on male chauvinism, religious hardliners, hypocracy of the educated crowd and few other aspects. Very subtle and sensible back ground score by Ashley Mendonca. The only disappointment was that it could have been a better movie with a better screenplay. Few scenes seemed like a rush job to me especially the ones which were very important. Neverthless a beautiful and original script amid heap of masala flicks. Met the director post movie and i could sense the pain when he told that he movie will be taken down in all the theatres except sapna. Please go and watch jatta before its out of theatres.
