Watching Bing Crosby and and David Bowie sing Drummer Boy and my mind wandered. I personally believe Christmas is magical because humanity really believes in Peace on Earth. And we do try. We are nice to strangers, we wish people all the best and for this brief season, magic DOES happen but for a moment in the year. Unfortunately our best efforts are somewhat feeble as unrest and war and strife and murders continue on regardless of the time of year. And thats why I believe that God (Jesus) will eventually return and make peace on earth a reality. In the meantime, my role is to love the Dickens (pardon the pun) out of all I come into contact with as my Master would if he were here. Especially those who think my ultimate idea of how peace on earth will happen is nothing more than fairy tale madness. Merry Christmas everybody and Happy New Year.
