Watching abbott apparently trying to explain himself in the wake of the Victorian election loss ... Apparently it WAS him who said no cuts to the ABC etc, and it WAS a contradiction ;o Apparently only the LNP can save us financially (were screwed then!) Apparently the only lessons to be learnt from the election loss were for the Victorian LNP. Apparently cutting defence allowances was a slight to our brave men and women which will now be reversed (quick: play the anthem!) Apparently the budget emergency started to subside just because they were elected. Apparently there IS a Plan B for the Budget. Does Joe know this? Apparently only the Labor party opposes their policies; no-one else? Apparently he cant change his PPS scheme cos journos might call that a broken promise :0 Our take overall: Apparently abbott is shaken by the Victorian loss, but of course would never admit it. Other things abbott said: The buck stops with the party leader We are getting our message across very clearly - the Labor party is making things difficult He also made little grunty noises while journos were asking questions: very weird!
