Watching the PGA swing in Fla. brings back the memory of the hole that happened in Fla. while on the trip with Erik, Steve, & Mark. I had already picked up my ball and just walking up to tend the flag being out of the hole. Mark had hit his second shot from the fairway over the water trying to reach the green. It fell short and landed in the hazard and in the water maybe about 1 inch under the water near the green. Mark decides that he will play if out of the hazard so he removes his shoes and socks and wades into the water. Sitting his feet to make the shot, I said as I walked up. Watch the alligator!! Golfers are always giving each other hard times, so Mark thought I was just giving him a hard time. However, after playing the shot her looked around to see what I had really been telling him. A alligator was heading straight towards him from the other side of the water and he thought I was just fooling with him. So if you play Fla and someone says this to you in playing from a spot where it could be true, you might want to stop and take another look at your position and the penalty of playing out of the hazard.
