Watching the Super Bowl pre game on Fox...just watched some band called Perry? Is that a pop band or a country band? I think its country..the girl is good but she doesnt sound like Tammy Wynette to me....I was laughing watching the boys in the band acting like they were rocking so hard with all the poses...its not their fault cuz there is always some lame producer and choreographer at these kind off gigs coaching the poor band on how to look like your into it. God I have been on so many of those sets...I was always the asshole who told those types to leave me alone....the best one was New Years Eve in Times Square 2007/8 I think. There was over a million people in the crowd plus the massive TV audience and the Fox host was my dear pal Spike Feresten ( I was at his house in LA 3 days ago talking about this in fact) Well Jordan Sparks was singing Tattoo and Manager Stirling Mcilwaine and I worked up a secret plot to have Spike ( who before this was known as the Seinfeld writer who wrote The Soup Nazi) grab one of my guitars from my tech Alex Alvarez and jump on the stage. He did that ( Jordan was shocked to see him up there since she didnt know about the gag). I then had security grab Spike and chuck him. He later had Jordan on his talk show on Fox and he showed the footage....now that was fun stuff
