*Water Balloon Boot Camp* *Happy Dance* *Skinny Ms. Barbecue Sauce* Dear Friends, Its been several weeks since Ive written and Ive missed it. Marathons, engagements and graduations had me out of town for six weekends in a row. All fun and games, but it sure feels good to be home for the long weekend! I hope you are all out enjoying the holiday, so Ill keep this short. Memorial Day Monday, LG Boot Camp will not meet at 6AM. Join us at 9AM for WATER BALLOON BOOT CAMP. As you have heard me often say, getting fit should be fun too, so lets have a little extra fun! New for Summer 2014 Boot Camp will meet at 7:00AM instead of 6:00AM beginning June 9th. 9:00AM Boot Camp will meet everyday Monday - Friday! Starting June 7th, I have been asked to lead a NEW Boot Camp every Saturday morning at 8:00AM through National Fitness Solutions at Campbell Park. Details to follow. :) Whats ahead My monthly support groups and online Challenges continue to grow and inspire us all! I love helping you kick-start or maintain with some amazing nutrition, fitness and accountability. Whether you have joined my Challenges to lose weight, clean up your diet, or just want to learn how to live a healthier lifestyle, its been a super positive stepping stone to reach your goals. My next program with support, accountability, a meal plan and coaching will start on Monday, June 9th. For the rest of summer, Ill provide 5-Day Challenges each month. Look for an invite soon. :) As part of the Challenges you get a new workout each day. For Mothers Day, my daughters joined me for my YouTube workout video. Ok, time to do my work out. :):) Food for Thought: Skinny Ms. Barbecue Sauce Yield: 8 servings l Serving Size: 1/4 Cup l Calories: 66 Total Fat: 2.0 g l Saturated Fat: 0 g l Trans Fat: 0 g Cholesterol: 0 mg l Sodium: 170 mg l Carbohydrates: 12.4 g Dietary Fiber: 1.1 g l Sugars: 10.6 g l Protein: 0.8 g Ingredients * 1 TBS. Canola or Olive Oil * 1 Sweet Onion, finely diced * 2 Cloves Garlic, minced * 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce * 1/4 Cup Honey * 1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar (use white balsamic vinegar for gluten free) * 2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard * 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, more or less to taste * 2 teaspoons chili powder * Kosher or Sea Salt to taste Directions In a medium sauce pan add canola oil, turn to medium-low heat and sauté onion until tender, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Add the remaining ingredients, stir and simmer until sauce has thickened, about 30 minutes. Allow to cool to room temperature and store in the refrigerator until ready to use. Its good to be back!! Much Love, Lori
