Water Manager Position at Suisun Resource Conservation District (SRCD) DESCRIPTION: Coordinate and improve water management practices on private lands in the Suisun Marsh; supervise and coordinate portable pump pool to insure proper maintenance and operation of pumps; operate automobiles, trucks, tractors, ATV’s, and other types of mechanical equipment; assist private landowners with implementation of habitat management strategies and more. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife management, wetlands ecology, zoology, botany, or a closely related biological field. Computer literacy. Possession of a valid driver license of the appropriate class issued by the CA Department of Motor Vehicles. General knowledge of wetland habitats and wetland-related wildlife management; wetland restoration and enhancement; experience with environmental regulatory and permitting issues.
