Way back in early 70s Sippy sir was making Seeta aur Geeta.... at the time of selection of Music Directors they were keen to have Shankar Jaikishan who had by then given number of hit songs for hit movies. As they were about to approach the duo Shankar & Jaikishan, jaikishan, unfortunately passed away. Thus the music composition work of Seeta aur geeta landed on none other than our PANCHAM DA............. rest again is history........... hear this out and the pair in the movie was also classic...........
