Way before he was a superstar. I was never a fan of his music until i explored it as an obligation to BMG CD club to purchase a certain amount of CDs at a regular price. When I purchased his 2nd album titled The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle I couldnt get it out of my CD player. This was the summer of 1995. I read where a music reviewer stated that Springsteen would put out other albums but none quite like this. I couldnt agree more. Only 7 songs but everyone counts. This is Springsteen at his best. Most innovative, romantic and creative. Not to mention the band is absolutely fantastic. Original line-up showed why they could not be rsplaced.
