We Just wanted to take a moment to thank all the agencies and groups that provided manpower and resources to assist while we were searching for Melissa Trent. It is always amazing how many volunteers are willing to put their lives on hold to help when needed. During the search we had as many as 80 people or resources at one time on the water, ground and in the air. These are the groups that were noted on the scene: Emergency Management officials & volunteers from Warren, Barren, Metcalfe, Green, Taylor, Logan and Edmonson Counties; Rescue Department teams or Fire Department teams from Barren, Metcalfe, Butler Counties; Kentucky Fish and Wildlife. Western Kentucky University Engineering Department, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers; Air Evac; Dog Teams from Metcalfe & Barren Counties; Jefferson County Swift Water team and The American Red Cross who provided onsite food and beverages. To our many volunteers that work tirelessly on our team at Warren County Rescue, we dont say it enough, but thank you for your commitment to our missions. The discovery of Ms. Trents body leaves a family saddened but they can now begin to heal and move forward with the closure her discovery brings. We pledge that we will keep the family in our thoughts and prayers. We are always here to help anytime of the day or night.
