We Know Not How This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man - TopicsExpress

We Know Not How This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain-first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. Mark 4:26-28 If you are actively laboring in the fields of the world to reap lost souls, guard against feeling discouraged if it seems your work is not yielding results. Are your loved ones shunning your attempts to share the Gospel message? Remember that God is Lord of the harvest, and He is in charge. Our task is to sow the Word of God, but we must trust Him, depend on Him, and be patient as He perfects the results of our work. For although we are laborers together with God, we know not how those seeds weve sown will grow. Only God can give the increase (1 Corinthians 3:7), in His own time and in His own way, according to a definite order of development: first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. Only when the crop is fully developed are we expected to reap-and rejoice! He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him (Psalms 126:6).
