We, Somali Diaspora worldwide, with enthusiasm and hope, welcome the recent Somali Federal Government and its partners of African Forces militarys offensive against the brutal terrorist Alshababs control of large swaths of Central and southern Somalia. We do take a notice of the bravery and leading role of the poorly equipped and unpaid Somali military forces who were the key to this liberating military campaign that has liberated many regions of Somalia from the evil Al Shabab/ Al Qaeda. We commend the leadership of Somali Federal government and its allies. But, we are very concerned about the mistakes that were made last couple offensives in those re-liberated regions of Somalia to again fall back to Al Shababs control because the governments failure to fill the power, social service and political vacuum in those regions once more. We are also concerned about Somali Federal Governments continuous inability t take over after AMISOM offensives or curb this unrelenting widespread corruption that keeps propping up Al shabab every time it is weakened and defeated. Again, we are very concerned about the recent crises in Baidoba Region and the inept ability of the Somalias Federal Government to engage the region but watched the crises to bubble. Ironically Bay region is highly strategic in this important offensive against Al shabab. Again, congratulations to the Somali men and women of the armed forces and its partners for defeating the evil forces of Al Shabab and denying them training bases so our poor and challenged youth in the Diaspora are not radicalized and lured into those camps as we, in the Diaspora, keep fighting for jobs and equal opportunities for our youth Than You!
