We Werent Born Tomorrow! Saturday, March 22 at 8:00 p.m. We Weren’t Born Tomorrow is a performance that explores the living history of a family. The performers interact with images and objects that connect a young woman and her grandparents in surreal ways. Movement, music, projections, storytelling and story-sharing weave the audience through the memories of four people that have shaped the life of their granddaughter. It explores questions like what if you could have attended your grandmothers wedding? What if you could have gone on family vacation with your grandfather as a child, or helped him when he got in trouble at their first job? Who were they then? Who are they now? And how do you shape each other’s identity? Following this performance there will be opportunities to share your own stories and interact with others art projects that are exploring these same themes.
