We all have demons that control a lot of what we do and say. Trying to drown them doesnt work , cuz demons swim , trying to hide from them doesnt work either , they have an amazing sense and will find you anywhere. Even when you think there gone and youve out run them for a while , the are quick and catch up in no time. Demons hate love , kindness, forgiveness , joy , patience and compassion. Hate , anger, jealousy , envy, resentment and hurt are what feeds them , keeps them alive , nurtures them. Letting go of negative feelings is hard because those demons dig in and hold on for dear life. Telling you to , hide , lash out, put up your walls , even try to hurt back. Time heals all , but love winds that clock. Loving yourself is your first step to abolishing your inner demons . No one can do it for you , but you. We all have demons and non of us are immune , but we are also never alone .
