We all have seasons of trials in the valley and the outcome of victory which put us on the Mt. Tops. We certainly enjoy the mountain tops that give us a reprieve to life’s trials. God has a different will for everyone in our lives. For Peter he was lead to die for John he lived a long life. There is not one will for all people. Rev. 1:9: “I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ,” Yet though John lived longer than Peter he still was a fellow sufferer. We follow in their footsteps as they followed in Christs. II Thess. 1:4-5: “so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; “
